One of my favorite moments was watching students confidently grab their colorful clipboards and spread out around the room during reading time! They feel so official and independent, which has made a big difference in their focus and engagement.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, the students were beyond excited. The colorful bins instantly caught their attention, and now our classroom library is not only organized but also much more inviting. Students can easily find and return books, which has built responsibility and independence. The white turn-in bins have also been a game changer during centers-students know exactly where their work goes, and transitions are smoother than ever.\r\n\r\nThe rainbow anchor chart has become a go-to tool during our reading lessons, especially for learning tricky sight words. I've noticed students referring to it on their own, which shows how much ownership they're taking over their learning. During small group instruction, the new mystery decodable books have added an element of excitement and curiosity, students love \"solving\" the story while practicing their reading skills.\r\n\r\nThe ELA games have been another highlight. They are highly engaging, and I've seen a big boost in confidence, especially when it comes to recognizing and reading sight words. Students are eager to participate and often ask to play again, which is exactly the kind of enthusiasm we hope for in learning.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, students will continue building their reading and writing skills through small groups, centers, and independent practice. We are working toward becoming stronger, more confident readers, and these resources are helping make that possible every single day.\r\n\r\nThank you for giving my students tools that not only support their learning but also make school a joyful and engaging place to be!\r\n\r\nI look forward to utilizing these materials for years to come!","fullyFundedDate":1768096668638,"projectUrl":"project/love-to-read/9977445/","projectTitle":"Love to Read","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Nazario","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10395053_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1768523940672","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10395053"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_90021","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":287,"numTeachers":35,"percentFrplEligible":42,"percentAsian":4,"percentBlack":6,"percentWhite":47,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":20,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"8.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR District Record","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":82.1,"schoolId":90021,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Leola Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Leola Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/pennsylvania/conestoga-valley-school-district/leola-elementary-school/90021"}
