Because of your kindness, my students will each have a paperback copy of Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens to read during our English 3- American Literature course. \r\n\r\nIn American Literature, it is so important for students to work on the skills of analytical reading, understanding to universal themes, analyzing how our culture has grown and changed, connecting our literature to history, and so many other valuable skills. By having paperback copies of this novel, we will be able to practice annotating in our novels for all of these skills.\r\n\r\nThe topics covered in this novel, including racism in the American South during the 1960s, the struggle for people in poverty, the struggle of women to have independence, and the overcoming of challenges faced by many groups of people are all so important for students to learn about.
