While each group may be working on different skills, there are some common supplies that they all use, and we go through quite a bit of them each school year. That was the purpose of my donors choose project. \r\n\r\nSomething I have seen over the may years I have been a teacher is that many students want to please. They want to get the answer right. Mistakes, even small ones, can be a big hit to their self esteem. That is why I love using expo markers and white boards, they make it easier to fix mistakes and makes them less noticeable than erasing pencil from paper. My students are much more likely to try, and make mistakes, if they are using dry erase markers. We go through a lot so this project was a huge help!\r\n\r\nWhen I gave students the highlighters from this project, they were so excited! They wanted to continue working and didn't want to put them away.
