I had hoped to include more photographs, but couldn't get a good image of the trash bags in use. Trust that they're the right choice for our purpose, so much better than the very dense plastic industrial bags. These trash bags have been helping us navigate our compostable food lunch wasted initiatives.\r\n\r\nHaving non plastic cutlery and eco-friendly bags has made a meaningful difference in our cooking and garden classes. Non plastic materials model the environmental values and everyday choices that I speak about in class, helping students connect sustainability lessons to real-life practice. The more people get a away from the convenience of plastic and normalize alternatives, the better.\r\n\r\nWe've been able to extend the life of some of the materials by reusing them in our school garden. One small example is the calendula plant marker we created from reused supplies, a reminder to students that thoughtful choices can make a positive contribution to our garden. Another is the small snack bags that are holding up really well both for food storage and also for garden purposes. \r\n\r\nYour generosity has helped us take important steps toward reducing waste and creating a more environmentally conscious school culture.
