Several of these items had to be selected when our original request, new tool cabinets, were no longer available. The team will look for another source for the tool cabinets, but has already put these items to use. \r\n\r\nThe team received a donation of old 3D printing filament from a local community member. The filament dryer was used to recondition the material, allowing the filament to be used. The drill press allows the team to make more accurate and consistent parts, which is crucial when building the components for our robots. Whether it's drilling holes for mounting hardware or creating custom brackets, the drill press has streamlined the production process and improved the overall quality of our builds.\r\n\r\nPerhaps most importantly, the right-angle drill has enhanced our ability to work in tight, hard-to-reach spaces within the robot's frame. This tool has enabled us to assemble and modify robots with greater ease, ensuring that we can adjust and fine-tune our designs even in the most confined areas. \r\n\r\nTogether, these donations have empowered our team to work more efficiently and effectively, pushing us to achieve higher levels of innovation as we approach our next competition season.","fullyFundedDate":1757503394733,"projectUrl":"project/robotics-team-tool-storage-and-drill-pre/9617726/","projectTitle":"Robotics Team Tool Storage and Drill Press","teacherDisplayName":"Dr. Krebs","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5978930"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_57031","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":869,"numTeachers":55,"percentFrplEligible":43,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":6,"percentWhite":70,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":11,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"15.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":50.0,"schoolId":57031,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Lansing High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Lansing High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/kansas/lansing-unified-school-district-469/lansing-high-school/57031"}
