The students were very excited to see the addition of the new drums and were very eager to give them a try. So far this year we have been learning about best, steady beat, and meter and the drums are always the first instruments chosen to assist with the lessons. \r\n\r\n During one lesson in my 3rd grade classes the students had to improvise a rhythm while the rest of the class played a backing beat on the rhythm sticks.
