Before receiving these new tools, my students were constantly dealing with tangled cords, keyboards with missing or nonworking keys, and mice that did not always respond properly. These issues may seem small, but when students are trying to complete assignments, create digital projects, or learn new computer skills, they can quickly become frustrating and take away valuable instructional time. Now, students can come into the lab, sit down at their computers, and focus on learning instead of worrying about whether their equipment will work.\r\n\r\nMy students were especially excited about having wireless technology at their workstations. They love having a cleaner and more organized workspace without cords getting tangled across their desks. These keyboards and mice are being used for so much more than simply typing and clicking. Students use them while learning Microsoft Office skills, completing digital design projects, exploring computer science concepts, conducting research, and developing skills they will need in college and the workplace. Having reliable equipment has helped students become more independent and confident when working with technology.\r\n\r\nOne of the greatest impacts has been seeing students who would sometimes become frustrated with our older equipment become more willing to participate and complete their work. Instead of hearing, \"My keyboard doesn't work,\" or \"My mouse isn't working,\" I now see students getting started and staying engaged. Something as simple as a reliable keyboard and mouse has helped remove a barrier to learning and has made our computer lab feel more functional, modern, and welcoming. Because of your generosity, my students are not just learning about technology—they are experiencing it.\r\n\r\nOne of the things that has touched me the most is seeing students who may sometimes be quiet or unsure of themselves become excited and confident when working with the 3D printer. Students are asking questions, helping one another, sharing ideas, and already thinking about what they want to create next. Even when a design does not turn out perfectly, they are learning not to give up. They go back to their designs, figure out what needs to be changed, and try again. They are learning problem-solving, patience, creativity, and perseverance without even realizing how many valuable skills they are developing.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in my students and investing in their future. You have given them more than a 3D printer—you have given them an opportunity to dream bigger, create something of their own, and see themselves as future designers, engineers, programmers, and innovators.
