Each day our class has a half hour of independent reading time and I had a handful of students who seemed to dread this time of day. They are now excited to read the graphic novels from this project. The books this project funded are so popular that I can't keep them on our classroom bookshelf. As soon as one gets returned, it is immediately taken by another student who wants to read it. \r\n This project has made reading enjoyable for students who hadn't previously had a positive experience with reading.
