Because of you, our classroom has become a calmer, more welcoming space where students feel supported as they learn and grow in math. The flexible seating, hands-on tools, and comfort supports are now part of our daily routines and are helping students feel more focused and confident during lessons.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials arrived, students were immediately excited and eager to use them. Many commented on how the classroom felt more peaceful and inviting, and students who typically struggle with math anxiety showed a noticeable increase in participation. They are more willing to ask questions, collaborate with peers, and persevere through challenging problems. Seeing their confidence grow has been incredibly meaningful.\r\n\r\nAs we continue through our math units, these resources will support problem-solving, small-group instruction, and collaborative learning aligned to our grade-level standards. Your generosity is making a lasting impact, not just academically, but emotionally by helping students replace frustration with confidence and calm. Thank you for believing in our students and investing in their success.","fullyFundedDate":1757969979646,"projectUrl":"project/calm-over-chaos-supplies-to-spark-math/9531766/","projectTitle":"Calm Over Chaos: Supplies to Spark Math Confidence","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Govan","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9567820_orig.jpg?crop=3399,3400,x0,y498&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1721918734239","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9567820"},{"teacherId":9517417,"projectId":8324369,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generous donation to my music classroom. I had never attempted the large scale mixed media project before, and having the necessary materials really allowed me to just jump in and have students experiment. They especially loved the Posca pens, which are generally just too expensive for the art budget, as well as learning how to layer paint over printing inks with the Gelli plates. \r\nStudents have also told me they truly appreciate the games that have been added to the art room collection. These really help reinforce theory, history, and vocabulary in a fun way, and when I allow students to break out the games, they always feel like it is a \"free day\" without it actually being a wasted opportunity to continue true learning and engagement.\r\n\r\nSo again, we truly appreciate you and your contribution.
