I had students immediately want to help me organize books on the shelf (there were a couple very serious discussions between them!) and a lot of my other kids felt that it made the space feel a little more official. I have a lot more curious students looking at the books where they wouldn't have before! Currently, it's holding our graphic novels and chapter book series, and looks very neat and sturdy!\r\n\r\nAlong with the bookshelf, our students just got their annual book orders in, and I'm seeing excitement to have it on the shelf! Many are offering to help with the process, so that we can fill up our class library and even spread them into the other classrooms. I'm very proud of the increased interest in reading my students have gained this year, and part of that is due to all of your help with this project!
