We made observations every day in our science journals and got to set them free. The butterflies did not want to leave their home! We helped them make their way to the sky and as the summer passed and a new school year has begun I have students STILL talking about the butterflies. This has made such a positive impact in their lives. Additionally, we had the privilege of discussing what life would be like on different planets using our solar system device. Our solar system device illuminated on the ceiling a planet, then told us facts about that planet.
