The support from you and the Hawaiʻi Department of Education has allowed my health and music students to truly bring their learning to life.\r\n\r\nAs last semester came to a close, my 60 health students created presentations showcasing their favorite units. With the butcher paper, colorful construction paper, binders, sheet protectors, markers, pencils, scissors, and glue sticks, they carefully designed projects that reflected both their knowledge and their personalities. Watching students thoughtfully choose colors, trim edges just right, and help one another assemble their work was a beautiful reminder that learning can be both meaningful and joyful.\r\n\r\nIn music class, the dry erase music staff magnets and EXPO markers gave students the opportunity to physically write notation and demonstrate rhythms for their peers. Students who were once hesitant stood at the board or behind the desk with pride, proudly showing how much they had grown.\r\n\r\nHaving enough high-quality materials for every student meant fewer limitations and more possibilities.
