On a daily basis the students are using the math practice roll stamps for the math facts. They love to take charge and and do it themselves. We also use the dry erase markers daily for math and for literacy practice throughout the day. Finally, we just got all of the upper grade math manipulatives in and set up for use. The kids have been enjoying using them to foster their learning and growth with mathematical concepts that they are working on in the classroom and also in my intervention classroom.\r\nWhen the materials first came the students were very excited, and wanted to play with them immediately. They especially like to use the playing cards to play multiplication games. They also like to use the number and symbol tiles to create their own equations. As we return back to school from winter break the students will be using the materials for measurement and fraction areas of focus. Thank you so much for funding my classroom materials for the kids.","fullyFundedDate":1727462840443,"projectUrl":"project/math-intervention-supplies-for-mathemat/8578351/","projectTitle":"Math Intervention Supplies: for mathematical conversations","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Beasley","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9244802"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_41873","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":120,"numTeachers":10,"percentFrplEligible":68,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":72,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":24,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"12.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":63.2,"schoolId":41873,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about La Veta Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"La Veta Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/colorado/la-veta-school-district-re-2/la-veta-school/41873"}
