These calculators have helped provided access for many of my students so that they can master the grade-level standards without the fear and anxiety of making minor computational errors. \r\n\r\nUsing these tools has helped my students and on the state assessment, 57% of the students were proficient and they told me that because they had been using the calculators all year, they knew the steps they needed to do in order to answer the questions when in the past they avoided the work because it was too hard.
