We have been enjoying these books very much. We have been reading them during our speech sessions. My students who stutter have felt especially empowered seeing themselves represented in these book characters. They have reported \"Hey, that's just like me!\" or \"I stutter too!\" \r\n\r\nOne of these books was also used for a speech-language pathologist lead session with kindergarten students. They were able to enjoy a story about a student who uses an AAC device (like other students in their class) to learn more about how it works.
