Words cannot express the gratitude that not only myself but our entire track team has that this project for snacks was funded.\r\n\r\nMany of our events usually start around 4:00pm and typically last until well past dinner time. Many of the schools do have concessions but there usually is not a good variety of healthy snacks that they need to give their bodies the energy they need to compete in multiple events.\r\n\r\nPlus they are kids and many of them forget to pack snacks. By funding this project our athletes will have access to snacks like granola bars, jerky, trail mix and cheese and peanut butter crackers.
