We were scientists, observers, writers, and illustrators. Since we have received these headphones, students have been able to focus more when working on their Chromebooks, they have been more engaged and focused, allowing them to complete their work faster and more efficiently, and it has helped cut down on unnecessary talking in the classroom that was taking away from student education. In addition, several students have been able to use the noise-canceling headphones during assemblies, and it has made the world of difference. Students who are on the spectrum and used to dread going to assemblies due to excessive noise can now attend and look forward to these assemblies and feel like they are part of our classroom community in all spaces.
