Having personal copies of A Streetcar Named Desire allowed them to mark up the text freely and build confidence in their interpretations. We focused on analyzing Williams' language, character development, and themes, especially how power, gender, and class shape the world of the play.\r\n\r\nSeveral students shared that this was the first time they felt truly connected to a classic text because the characters felt real and flawed — and they loved being able to track their thoughts right in the margins.
