Because of your donations, my students now have access to percussion instruments and drumsticks that have brought excitement, energy, and new learning opportunities into our classroom. When the students first saw the new materials, they were extremely excited and eager to try them out. It was amazing to see their enthusiasm as they picked up the instruments with new drum heads, practiced rhythms, and worked together to create music.\r\n\r\nWe are using these resources to help students explore rhythm, timing, coordination, and musical expression through hands-on activities inside of their classroom and during after school rehearsal. One special moment was watching students work together to practice different beats and rudiments while encouraging one another. Having the correct heads and drum sticks for students to actively participate has made our lessons much more engaging and interactive for all scholars. \r\n\r\nAs we continue learning, students will build on these skills by practicing more complex rhythms, working collaboratively, and creating their own percussion patterns and musical performances. Your generosity has given my students the opportunity to learn through creativity and hands-on experiences, and we are so very grateful for your support.
