We are using these resources daily for note-taking, document analysis, interactive lessons, and hands-on activities that help students think and work like real historians. One standout moment was watching students eagerly dive into primary source activities—fully engaged, organized, and excited to share their thinking.\r\nWhen the materials arrived, my students were thrilled. Their faces lit up as they realized these supplies were just for them and their learning. Many students expressed how proud they felt to have \"real historian tools,\" and it immediately boosted their motivation and confidence. The new resources have helped create a structured, engaging environment where students feel prepared to succeed and take ownership of their learning.\r\nThanks to your generosity, our next steps include deeper historical inquiry, project-based learning, and critical thinking activities aligned with our current history units. Students are now better equipped to analyze cause and effect, compare historical perspectives, and present their understanding in meaningful ways. Your support has made a lasting impact on my classroom, and I am incredibly grateful for the role you've played in helping my students grow as confident, capable historians.","fullyFundedDate":1767187288902,"projectUrl":"project/supplies-for-success-every-historian-de/9975598/","projectTitle":"Supplies for Success: Every Historian Deserves the Best!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Mosby-King","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7736063_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1768689804191","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7736063"},{"teacherId":8695999,"projectId":9195911,"letterContent":"First I would like to thank you for your contributions to my classroom! The impact that you have had on my students is nothing short of a miracle. To be able to begin the year and already have resources for the kids to be able to create a project for the first civilization that we studied this year has never happened in the 11 years that I have been teaching Social Studies. The first project was the students making maps and brochures telling about Ancient China. They had everything that they could think of to create these maps and brochures from yarn to coloring pencils. \r\nWhen my students first saw the materials they were so ready to get started on their projects and we hadn't completed the unit! It made them more attentive, they took better notes, and they even asked more in-depth questions to make sure that they had the research they needed to successfully complete the maps and brochures. They were eager to help to unpack the boxes so they could see what we got and they even gave me great ideas for future projects!\r\n With so many materials that I have received through donors choose we will be able to create so many more projects this year. We are currently working on Japan and we are making physical maps and compare and contrast charts. With the materials that I have left we have so many more projects in mind that I can't wait to see them execute.
