The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding of history and competency in authentic, meaningful geographic features of China. In this Social Studies lesson plan, students will be going on a virtual field trip to China and identify various geographical features such as the Gobi Desert, Pacific Ocean, Yellow River, Yangtze River and the Himalaya Mountains. They will also be learning about the size of China, and the origins of ancient Chinese civilization and how it was developed. By the end of this virtual field trip they will be able to explain and identify the geographical features of China and its civilization.

About my class
