These materials make such a difference in our classroom and help give my students the tools they need to learn and grow. Snacks ensure that students who come to school without one have something to eat, while golf pencils, dry erase markers, and glue sticks are used for daily writing practice and hands-on literacy and math activities. Whether we are practicing writing our names, sequencing events from a story, or exploring new math concepts, these supplies help make learning fun and engaging. Our magnetic bookshelf also allows me to display books that connect to our current units and the changing seasons, encouraging students to explore new stories and get excited about reading. The laminating pouches have been especially helpful for creating materials that can be used again and again throughout the year.\r\n\r\nThese supplies also help support my students beyond academics. Sensory fidgets give students something to use when they are having big feelings and need a break in our Think Space before they are ready to learn again. LEGOs are a favorite during purposeful play and give students opportunities to use their imaginations, problem-solve, work together, and explore early math skills. My teacher planner helps me stay organized, plan lessons each week, and keep track of important meetings and student needs. I am so grateful for the support because every item serves a purpose in our classroom.
