They kept saying, \"this is all for us?\" When they were given their very own day planner on the second day of school, several of them said, \"this is mine to keep?\" I taught them (all of middle school and all of high school) how to do block planning (including color coding with the highlighters) and effectively use their day planners this year and in the future. I have weekly day planner checks to ensure they are using them, and I am happy to report that the vast majority of the students are! \r\n The classroom materials (markers, scissors, highlighters, hole punches, index cards, sticky notes, page protectors, etc) have been getting lots of use in the classroom as well. The students are using the index cards and rings for their vocabulary words in each of my classes. We have already done several projects which utilized some of the supplies you purchased for us. \r\n Our small home economics room has been greatly blessed with the addition of the cooking utensils, thermometers, and measuring tools. It certainly made it easier to explain the different tools by being able to actually show them the items and explain their uses! We have our first cooking/canning lab next week where they will be getting their first use of the year.\r\n We can not express how thankful we are that you were willing to help our small school out in this way.","fullyFundedDate":1746785873127,"projectUrl":"project/remember-your-egg-baby-did-it-survive/9196135/","projectTitle":"Remember Your Egg Baby?
