When students first saw the modeling clay and sculpting materials, they were immediately excited and eager to begin creating. The supplies helped bring stories to life and encouraged even quieter students to participate and share their ideas.\r\nWe recently used the materials during a reading lesson on theme and character development. Students created sculptures representing important moments and lessons from the stories we read, such as empathy, kindness, and perseverance.
