Because of you, my students now have hands-on materials that help them explore math concepts while also learning to recognize and talk about their emotions. We are using these resources daily during math centers, morning meetings, and small-group lessons. One of our favorite moments so far was watching students use emotion cards and math manipulatives together to solve problems while sharing how they felt when something was tricky or exciting.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials arrived, my students were absolutely thrilled. Their faces lit up as they explored the new tools, and many of them immediately began making connections between numbers and feelings. I heard comments like, \"This makes math feel happy!\" and \"I feel proud when I get it right.\" Seeing their excitement and confidence grow has been incredibly meaningful, especially for students who sometimes feel nervous about math.\r\n\r\nThanks to your support, our next steps include using these materials to build deeper problem-solving skills and emotional awareness. Students will continue working on identifying emotions during challenges, explaining their thinking, and supporting one another as they learn. You have truly helped create a classroom where math feels engaging, safe, and joyful. Thank you for giving my students this opportunity to grow both academically and emotionally.","fullyFundedDate":1762437968509,"projectUrl":"project/math-and-emotions-in-our-world/9602347/","projectTitle":"Math and Emotions in Our World","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Brown","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp4021672_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1731813452413","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4021672"},{"teacherId":4021672,"projectId":9170295,"letterContent":"Our students have been so excited to use the new resources in our classroom!
