With the donation of supplies, I now can continue our tradition of learning all about diameter, radius and circumference with a tangible project that not only teaches geometry skills but also sewing and important SEL lessons. \r\n\r\nThe students had no idea why we needed the fabric, thread, needles etc. Though once they realized the project, the excitement was tame but there. \r\n\r\nNow with 3 quilts that have been made in this teachers math class, it has become a tradition that students that have been in program multiple years can look back on.
