These materials are being used daily and have made a positive difference for both students and teachers.\r\nSo far, our students have put the art supplies to wonderful use by creating a giant thank-you card for our school counselor, who was named Counselor of the Year for the state. As part of the project, each student had their hand painted to add their own \"stamp of approval.\" The students absolutely loved the activity and were eager and excited to participate—many were quick to line up with smiles, ready to paint their hands and be part of something special.\r\nThis project has brought creativity, joy, and connection into our classroom while also supporting staff with tools that help us stay organized and focused on instruction. As expected, it took about a week for everyone to transition comfortably to the new furniture and routine. With patience, modeling, and consistent practice, students are learning how to use their cubbies with growing confidence and pride. I truly appreciate it and the moment those boxes of our supplies arrived, we dove right into using them.\r\n\r\nMy students were all so excited when they saw the supplies arrive, especially the student lap desks that were perfect size for the first graders. I have a lot of students who would prefer to sit on the carpet when learning and the lap desks give them that option. I have a couple students that are visually impaired and have a hard time seeing the board, even being in the front of the class, so having the option to go on the floor with their lap desks and being even closer to the board has been a great help to them.\r\n\r\nThere are three different classroom teachers including the General Education teacher, the SPED teacher, and the EA. Having the laptop stand near our projector has really helped and we use it everyday. It is especially convenient when we are standing and it allows us to see comfortably without needing to sit or bend down to see our laptop screen.\r\n\r\nThe laminator, laminating sheets, and the binders have been a great help in our classroom as well, especially for the teachers because it helps us to organize our materials, and preserve any teacher and student work moving forward.\r\n\r\nThank you so much, the teachers and students in my classroom are all very grateful for your kindness. :)","fullyFundedDate":1759597095208,"projectUrl":"project/classroom-comfort/9780915/","projectTitle":"Classroom Comfort","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Reed","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10295794"},{"teacherId":8978615,"projectId":9773471,"letterContent":"Thank you for your donation.
