My students are just starting to explore the new items and are learning to interact and follow directions using them. It is exciting to be able to provide varied activities that have a functional purpose!\r\n\r\nThey have started to learn to match colors and follow simple directions. I have a student that is beginning to be able to use a picture exchange system to label colors using some of the materials provided. It is exciting when you see a student start to make the connection of how communication works. They enjoy the little animals in the barns which have been a wonderful way to work on animal sounds.
