One specific project has been our fitness and teamwork stations, where students rotate through activities that build strength, coordination, endurance, and cooperation. The students have been able to practice skills with equipment that is better suited to their needs, and it has been exciting to see them encourage one another and work together during each activity. Another activity is our world cup tournament that we complete each year and our students absolutely love it. Without soccer balls, this activity is not possible. We are so grateful to have new soccer balls. \r\n\r\nWhen our students first saw the new materials, they were immediately excited and curious. They could not wait to touch the equipment and start using it! When I showed them the soccer balls and dodgeballs, they cheered and clapped and it was so great to see their excitement and appreciation. When I showed them the dumbbells, they were also so excited as this will allow us to try something new in our classes. Their enthusiasm made it clear how meaningful it is for students to have access to quality equipment that allows them to try new activities and challenge themselves.\r\n\r\nOur next steps are to continue building on these lessons by introducing more structured challenges and small-group activities. Students will work on improving their soccer skills, developing strength and proper movement techniques with the dumbbells, and practicing throwing, catching, and teamwork with the dodgeballs. We will continue encouraging students to set personal goals, track their progress, and support their classmates. These resources are helping us create a classroom where students can stay active while also developing confidence, perseverance, and teamwork. Most of all, this equipment allows our students to be more active and have more fun throughout their school day. We are so very grateful. Your support has made a huge difference in our gym classes. We are truly grateful for your generosity. This donation that you have given to us will greatly enhance our ability to promote health, fitness, and well-being among our students and school community. Because of your contribution, we are better equipped to offer safe, effective, engaging and fun fitness opportunities for everyone in our school.\r\n\r\nMyself and my students are extremely grateful for your donation. As soon as each box of equipment was delivered, myself and a small group of students walked down to the office to bring it back down to our gym. We then opened each box and our gymnasium was full of cheers from all of us to see such nice and new equipment for our school. We have not been able to get any new equipment in a very long time, so this was a very big deal to us. Our school is on the older side and so is our current equipment.
