The students have had a wonderful time experimenting with our new equipment! A lot of the equipment are for helping the students work on their balance and it is definitely helping. It's great because the students like using the different types of equipment but they are improving their skills at the same time. \r\n\r\nThe big hit has been the mini trampoline! The students love jumping and afterwards they always comment on how hot and sweaty they are, which is great. The biggest problem I have is that once the students get on the trampoline, they don't want to get off and share it with others. I think I need a class set! \r\n\r\nThanks again for supporting my program. Also, I have been able to learn more on the topic of Dyslexia, a subject and area I feel that I always can learn more about. Again, thank you for your support in helping me fund my project. Thanks to your contributions, our summer program became a vibrant, creative, and therapeutic experience that fostered growth, self-esteem, and joy. This summer was filled with crafts and imagination. Our students had the opportunity to create T-shirts to give to their parents, an activity that boosted their confidence and sense of accomplishment. The sand art projects allowed them to use their imagination and express themselves in a calming and therapeutic way, helping to reduce stress and promote emotional well-being.\r\n\r\nPainting freely allowed students to explore their creativity, offering a therapeutic outlet to relax and self-reflect. Using popsicle sticks, they built castles and other imaginative structures, which not only enhanced their motor skills but also provided a fun and soothing way to engage their minds and emotions. The laminated machine enabled students to create personalized items, providing a sense of pride and ownership. When they needed a break or a moment to refocus, they enjoyed walking around or engaging in calming activities. The nail sessions were a highlight, boosting their self-esteem and allowing them to express their individuality.\r\n\r\nFace painting was another favorite activity, creating opportunities for giggles, self-expression, and social bonding, all of which are incredibly therapeutic for children. These activities helped children develop their confidence, foster a sense of belonging, and provided a safe space for emotional release. All of these experiences contributed to a therapeutic environment where children could develop resilience, self-awareness, and emotional strength in a fun, supportive setting. Your support has truly made this summer memorable and meaningful, turning routine activities into powerful tools for healing and growth.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping us provide a summer filled with creativity, joy, and healing.
