The materials for my project will make a difference in student's learning by keeping them focused on learning and less on what they don't have. By supply students with hygiene products they don't have at home, they won't have to sit in class wondering if their classmates can smell their breath or body odor because they didn't have the necessary supplies to take care of those things at home.
Students need to be able to come to school and not think of not eating that morning or how they smell. The breakfast bars and crackers are for them to snack on if they came to school late of are extra hungry be the may not have eaten the night before and breakfast was their first meal since lunch the day before, or just because they came to school late.
The hats and gloves are for those students whose parents may not be able to afford to get those things for them. They also be for students who lost the ones they had and just need some replacements. Everything that I am asking for will help students be able to focus on learning and completing assignments in school and at home.
