It's a great way for students to learn without actually knowing it! Getting them to read informational text is a woozy but these books prese the info in a non-threatening way. This project has helped students to connect with History in a more \"fun\" way.\r\n\r\nWe use the books to introduce a new unit and/or let students read if they are done with their work. The books are great for those kids that need visuals to tell the story. The fidget toys are great for those that need to keep their hands busy in class. I demonstrate to students how to use it properly where it doesn't become a distraction. Pencils! I swear students like to eat them. From noise-canceling headphones that support students with sensory sensitivities to audio tools that aid language learners and support personalized learning, headsets are essential assets for accessibility. The donation of the headsets to my classes have made such a wonderful difference to my students. They were so excited and grateful to have new headsets to use while they are learning. The smiles on their faces and the pride that they take in taking care of them is so rewarding to me as their teacher. They were exited about creating the \" Thank You\" posters and they wanted then all to be on display.
