The students were excited to read them. By adding the books, the students were able to self select books to read during our Station Rotation time. That is a 30 minute block where the students can read independently or with a partner. Several of the fourth and fifth graders commented that with the multiple copies of the I Survived books that they could partner read or make a small group and read the same books. Thank you so much for generosity in providing books in the hands of students. When the supplies came, the students were excited to see new markers and pencils. The students took the supplies and organized them into cups for easy access. This allowed students to illustrate things that were of interest to them or what they were learning in class. It was nice to see students take care of the cart so that they would continue to have supplies to use. Often times, students run out of supplies late in the school year. Thank you to the many donors that gave the students a supply refresh.
