Many of my students are working hard to identify not only how they feel, but how characters in books, short videos, or pictures might feel. We focus on using clues from three different spots on our faces (eyes, eyebrows, and mouth) to make smart guesses. The 8 mini plush toys allow students to have a tangible item to compare facial expressions to that have helped greatly in our sessions! Students of all ages have enjoyed using the emotion coin drop, whether it be working on matching the coins, students creating their own facial expressions for each emotion, or coming up with scenarios where they would feel a specific emotion.\r\n\r\nYour donation has also allowed me to help students who are having a hard day, or having a hard time emotionally regulating.
