We are located in Artesia, CA, and are a part of the ABCUSD school district. For the past 11 or so years, our district has held an annual event called Reading Olympics, but they are no longer having it this year. I decided I wanted to carry on the tradition at my school. Our group consists of six 4th graders, eight 5th graders, and four 6th graders. \r\nYou have put some of the 12 books on the list in the hands of these students! Our library only had a few copies of the titles on the list. You have helped make this event possible. It fosters the love of reading. It also helps to reach their school-wide reading goals. \r\nWe look forward to our event on April 14.
