Many of my students have expressed how much easier it is to stay focused and understand what they're learning. Because of your generosity, they are building stronger study habits, improving their reading and math skills, and gaining confidence in their abilities.\r\n\r\nWe are so grateful for your kindness and for believing in the power of education. These books have opened up entirely new worlds for my students, introducing them to essential nonfiction reading skills they'll use throughout their academic journey. Students who previously had little experience with nonfiction texts are now eagerly diving into stories about fascinating people, places, and topics that capture their imagination. Through these biographies, they're learning to identify main ideas, make connections between historical events and modern life, and analyze how different authors present information—all while discovering inspiring figures who show them that anyone can make a difference in the world.\r\n\r\nReading is at the heart of our daily classroom routine, and your donated books have made every moment more meaningful. Students spend their afternoon independent reading time completely absorbed in learning about everyone from Ruth Bader Ginsburg to the mysteries of ancient civilizations. What amazes me most is how these titles have offered something special for every type of reader in our classroom—reluctant readers find topics that hook their interests, advanced readers are challenged by complex historical concepts, and students who typically prefer fiction are discovering that real-life stories can be just as thrilling as any novel.
