During the past few months, it has proven to support a variety of activities, all of my classes, and also when I need to conference with students. Also, when students need to get up and maintain their attention on the lesson, they are able to use the desk to stay in the classroom. The Standing station has overall proven to be very useful.\r\nWhen it first arrived, the students were impressed that it has adjustable heights. They are able to both stand or sit during a variety of activities. Since September, students have repeatedly asked to use it, or just walked over, since they understand that it is an option. I continue reiterating that I understand how much they sit all day and that our class is different; there are options available to them.\r\nStudents have used the desk for a variety of activities: 4 corners, student to student conferencing, teacher to student conferencing, group project collaboration, big post it paper drawing / mental maps, and any other activity where one solid working space is better than smaller desks.\r\nThis desk has been so useful this semester and it's thanks to you!
