These trampolines are now being used in both our Xtreme Bounce Club and across multiple PE fitness and jump roping units, allowing students to practice skills in an engaging, low-impact way.\r\n\r\nIn PE classes, students rotate through jumping stations where they build cardiovascular endurance, rhythm, balance and coordination. The trampolines are especially helpful during fitness and jump roping units, giving students a fun alternative to traditional exercises while strengthening their legs and improving timing and control. Students who may struggle with traditional jump rope skills gain confidence as they practice bouncing and jumping with success.\r\n\r\nDuring Xtreme Bounce Club, the additional trampolines allow more students to participate at the same time, increasing active time and reducing wait time. Students are learning to challenge themselves and support one another in a positive, high-energy environment.\r\n\r\nBecause of your generosity, students are experiencing movement in a new and exciting way. Ready, Set, Rebound! has helped create inclusive, motivating lessons where students are excited to move, improve their skills and develop a lifelong love for physical activity.","fullyFundedDate":1763690627206,"projectUrl":"project/ready-set-rebound/9870390/","projectTitle":"Ready, Set, Rebound!","teacherDisplayName":"Coach Reynolds","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10329759"},{"teacherId":10329759,"projectId":9858979,"letterContent":"I just wanted to give you an update on the \"Tiny Trampolines, Big Energy!\" project that you were a huge part in making happen. We had our first Xtreme Bounce Club last week and it was amazing! Thanks to your generosity, our \"Tiny Trampolines, Big Energy!\" project brought movement, excitement and confidence to our brand-new Xtreme Bounce Club. Ten students ranging from K-2nd grade now have the opportunity to participate in a fun, structured physical activity that promotes cardiovascular endurance, balance, coordination and self-confidence.\r\n\r\nThe trampolines instantly captured students' interest and motivation. They provide a safe, engaging way for students to release energy while learning proper jumping techniques and body control. Students are practicing focus, listening skills and perseverance as they work toward personal goals-like jumping longer, maintaining balance and encouraging their classmates.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, this project has helped students discover that exercise can be fun. The excitement and pride they feel during Xtreme Bounce Club will hopefully carry over into our PE classes and away from school. I am looking forward to introducing the trampolines to all of my PE classes soon where all of my students will be able to have the same experience as the students in the Xtreme Bounce Club. We've been using the new resources every single day, and they've already made a meaningful difference in how my students learn and collaborate.\r\nOne of my favorite moments happened the first week the materials arrived. I introduced a hands-on project where students worked in teams to explore literature themes, math challenges, and social studies topics using the new supplies. As soon as I opened the boxes, the room filled with excited chatter. Several students asked, \"Are these really for us?\"—and when I said yes, their faces absolutely lit up. Students who are usually quiet became leaders during the activity, confidently guiding their groups through the task. It was a powerful reminder of how the right tools can unlock potential.\r\nRight now, we're using the resources to deepen our work on persuasive writing unit and our social studies unit on maps. The materials have allowed us to take the lesson from abstract ideas to concrete, real-world application. Our next steps include writing and illustrating stories, building models, and completing research projects. The students are already buzzing with ideas and can't wait to see how their work evolves.\r\nYour support didn't just provide supplies—it provided opportunities, motivation, and a sense of pride for every student in this room.
