Many of our kids face a number of pressures and stressors in everyday life that lead to big emotions! Knowing these emotions are ok to have and being given some strategies to help work through these emotions is exactly what these book sets have helped our students with recently. The two favorites thus far have been A Little Spot of Anger and A Little Scribble Spot. Another book that was a big hit was one from the Take Action Set-A Little Spot of Honesty-teaching our students that important life skill of truthfulness. And of course, the cute plushies that came with these book sets are so fun!\r\n\r\nWe are so grateful for this meaningful gift and for your help in helping us to truly become our best selves!","fullyFundedDate":1764725902426,"projectUrl":"project/help-us-be-our-best-selves/9874362/","projectTitle":"Help Us Be Our BEST Selves!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Griffin","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10341315"},{"teacherId":10312122,"projectId":9828983,"letterContent":"On behalf of our entire school community, thank you for your generous contribution through the Donors Choose program in support of our school-wide CAT Cash incentive program. Your donation has made a meaningful and visible impact across our classrooms. Students are using CAT Cash daily as part of our positive behavior system, earning tokens for following directions, showing responsibility, and demonstrating our school-wide character goals. One especially impactful outcome has been in our special education department, where CAT Cash provides a tangible and motivating reward for positive choices. This system has helped students take pride in their progress and work toward goals that once felt out of reach.\r\n\r\nWhen students were first introduced to the CAT Cash materials and store, their excitement was immediate. They were eager to learn how they could earn tokens and began going the extra mileāhelping classmates, staying focused, and modeling positive behavior. The CAT Cash store has become a powerful motivator, encouraging students to hold themselves accountable and celebrate their successes. Looking ahead, teachers are continuing to connect CAT Cash to classroom lessons and long-term character development. Students are setting personal goals, reflecting on their choices, and learning the value of perseverance, responsibility, and teamwork. Thank you again for your generosity and for giving our donors a meaningful peek into our classrooms.
