One powerful moment came when an English Language Learner wrote, \"The colors make me feel happy like home,\" connecting her artwork to her personal experience. These journals are giving students a safe, supportive space to build both their creativity and their confidence with language.\r\n\r\nAs we continue our lessons, students will write artist statements, expand vocabulary, and reflect on their artistic growth.
