Right after our project was funded, I found out that our school district had generously purchased a Pear Deck subscription for all teachers! This was fantastic news, and it meant I could use your donation to solve another one of our classroom's big needs.\r\n\r\nInstead of the Pear Deck subscription, your funds allowed us to purchase a premium subscription to a website called Classroom Screen. This tool is an incredible digital \"whiteboard\" that allows me to embed our lessons and use all kinds of interactive widgets to keep students engaged. It has been a perfect fit for our classroom. In addition, the dry-erase pockets also engage more students in complete class activities.\r\n\r\nI've seen a shift in their focus. My students pay so much more attention when I show the lesson on Classroom Screen. The interactive widgets are a huge hit. When I put up a 'work together' signal, a \"voice level\" monitor, or a timer for group work, they respond instantly.
