Your generosity allowed me to provide snack packs for students who may be experiencing food insecurity and help bridge the gap for children who come to school hungry or simply need something extra to get them through the day.\r\n\r\nAs a teacher, I see firsthand how difficult it can be for a child to concentrate when they are hungry. It is hard to read, complete an assignment, or participate in a lesson when your mind is on when you will have something to eat. Because of your support, I can quietly offer students a snack when they need one without making them feel embarrassed, different, or singled out.\r\n\r\nWhat may seem like a simple snack can mean so much more to a child. It can provide comfort, help them refocus, and remind them that someone cares about their well-being. Your generosity has allowed me to support my students not only as learners, but as children with individual needs that sometimes extend beyond academics.\r\n\r\nFrom the bottom of my heart, thank you for investing in my students and my classroom.
