As a Title One school it is not always easy to purchase supplies or for students to bring their own. Your gifts allowed so many student to have a pencil to write with and notebook paper to write on. High school students do not always get the same love that younger students get but these gifts made them feel important and seen. \r\n\r\nWe used these gifts during our Drama Unit where we were able to print each student a copy of the play thanks to all of the copy paper gifted to us. They are now creating a booklet on Elie Wiesel's life while reading Night during our Research Unit.\r\n\r\nNot only did these gifts mean so much to my students but they also meant so much to me personally. I generally finance all of my own student materials and being on a tight budget I can only get so much at a time for them. Being able to supply students with what they needed to be successful without having to also worry about finances was a huge weight lifted off my shoulders.
