These moments help us build early literacy skills while practicing listening, making choices, and taking turns.\r\n\r\nYour donations have also brought meaningful sensory exploration and play into our day. Students enjoy exploring the sensory spheres in Play-Doh and playing with the touch-activated sensory lights. The magnetic monsters have been another favorite! Students love matching the different parts and connecting them with ease, creating opportunities to build fine motor skills, explore creatively, and experience success independently. The beanbag chair provides a comfortable place to relax and meet their sensory needs through supported movement and supervised crashing.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we will continue using these materials to support communication, early learning, and sensory regulation throughout our daily routines. We will build on students' interests by encouraging them to request favorite materials, identify letters, numbers, and colors, and share activities with classmates.
