These books have helped support language development, vocabulary, and classroom discussions.\r\n\r\nThe students were very excited when the books arrived. Many students shared stories about what they saw in the photos and related them to their own experiences. Next, we will continue using these books as part of our thematic units and social-emotional learning lessons. Students will use the books to practice identifying emotions, learning about routines, and building background knowledge through real-life images. We will also incorporate them into partner talks, retelling activities, and calm-down corners to support emotional regulation and communication.
