Your donation has had a direct and meaningful impact on multiple grade levels of students.\r\n\r\nWith the new aeronautics materials, students explored real-world science concepts through hands-on learning. They studied key principles such as lift, thrust, drag, and gravity, and applied them while designing and testing powered paper airplanes. This project encouraged critical thinking as students adjusted wing shapes, balance points, and angles to improve flight performance.\r\n\r\nTheir initial reaction was pure focus and excitement. Many were surprised that something as familiar as a paper airplane could be used to study real engineering concepts. Connecting their designs to actual flight power added a layer of engagement and sparked curiosity about how flight works.\r\n\r\nNow that we've started a new academic quarter, a fresh group of students is working on the same project. What's been encouraging is seeing them build on the experiences of earlier classes—discussing what worked, testing new designs, and aiming to improve outcomes.
