Learning about nature and gardening is such a great way to introduce my students to the types of things that they don't normally get to learn about. It gave them a practical and engaging project to work on that allowed them to get physically involved in their learning, something they don't normally get to do in our classroom environment.\r\n\r\nMy students spent time learning about and planting their very own gardens that we were able to keep in our classroom and watch the first stages of plant life. Over the summer, they were able to bring their plants home to continue growing and learning with their families over the summer holiday.\r\n\r\nThis was such a unique and beneficial activity that my special education students got to have thanks to your generosity. They had a great time, got an interactive learning experience, and they of course had a great time doing it.
