They saw the storage closet go up, and they immediately were curious! It was empty for a couple days and they were playing hide and they had a blast. Now that they have bikes, and toy and bubbles they are enjoying the variety of options. \r\n We have created a visual system where the students have to request the item, and we have put this on the shed and the students will line up and request \"I want...\" and then they tell us what they would like. Not only are we working on their gross motor skills, but their social and communication. \r\n Because of your kindness and generosity we have been able to offer our students different options to play. This has immensely changed the dynamics of recess.","fullyFundedDate":1760942477645,"projectUrl":"project/outdoor-play-for-preschool/9799704/","projectTitle":"Outdoor Play For Preschool","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Calderon","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp4730102_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1637134165740","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/g4mrsc"},{"teacherId":4730102,"projectId":9801017,"letterContent":"This cold season has hit our class roughly, but thankfully to all of you we are well stocked up to help the spread of germs. We have been able to put tissues in every corner of the classroom, so that when the students need them, they are able to get them; or if they need help wiping their nose we have easy access. This had been the best thing ever, it has significantly reduced them wiping it on their clothing or on us.\r\n The snacks have been such a life saver! During snack time, when some of our students have not brought snacks it has helped immensely because they are within reach and no child is going hungry after recess. It's the little things that help relieve stress on our end, and you all have greatly helped us. \r\n Everyday we wipe our classroom clean, multiple times a day. We share a class and having the disinfecting wipes has made the transition so much easier. When one class leaves, and the other enters they are coming into a clean class. My students love eating Pop-Tarts and Goldfish, and having options of different drinks. They love the yoo-hoos and juices. They come back from recess, with a full belly and ready to learn. We use the paper boats to put their snack in, and they are so helpful because they are heavy duty and they don't fly away like paper napkins. \r\n Laminating sheets are something we use everyday, and it is a great way to save their work and art for keepsakes.
