Walking into a classroom should feel like entering a space of possibility, and thanks to your support, my students now walk into a room that feels like a professional, cozy, and highly efficient learning space.\r\nThe impact of the couch, accent chairs, and cube organizers gave the classroom a flow that mimics a modern workspace. The organizers have cleared the clutter, allowing students to transition between activities without chaos. When the students first saw the furniture, their eyes lit up and everyone wanted to sit on the new couch to work. \r\nWe have already put the new resources to great use. We recently used the Jenga games to review grammar structures. Students were so focused on keeping the tower upright that they forgot they were doing rigorous academic work! The headphones have been helpful for both my Spanish and ELL students. Students can pause, rewind, and engage with listening activities at their own pace without distractions. The prize wheel has made giving house points more exciting for the students and I both. It sounds simple, but the large wall clock has saved so much time. Students no longer have to squint or ask me for the time; they are learning to manage their own pacing during independent work.
