These headphones have truly changed the way my 4th graders learn every single day. Because many of my students are multilingual learners or need extra support with reading and focus, having reliable headphones has made independent work more accessible and far less overwhelming for them.\r\n\r\nStudents use their headphones during reading interventions, for speech-to-text writing support, to listen to read-alouds and vocabulary videos, and to stay focused during online assignments. They also use them for testing, which has helped reduce distractions and build confidence. Even after months of daily use, my students have taken incredible care of them because they understand how important this resource is.\r\n\r\nI cannot thank you enough for believing in our classroom. Your generosity has directly supported my students' growth, independence, and joy in learning. One student in particular who speaks Arabic wanted to check out the book in their language as soon as she saw we had a book in her language. For that student and many others, it's the first time they've seen their home language represented on our shelves. And the pride they feel is beautiful. \r\n\r\nThe joy, connection, and confidence these books are bringing into our space can't be overstated. Because of your generosity, my students will now have access to hands-on STEM tools that are helping them bring their ideas to life. The magnetic tiles and sound-activated eBlox you helped fund have already sparked real excitement in our library. These tools are already helping students learn how to think more creatively, solve problems, and work together to explore real-world science and engineering concepts. \r\n\r\nThe excitement has been contagious. I've watched students who usually hang back dive into building challenges, proudly showing off their creations and explaining their thinking. One student with limited English skills has used one of our 3D pens to build a tiny house, then told me in his own words how he would improve the design next time. Another student with learning differences lit up like a supernova when she figured out how to trigger our magnetic tiles with sound and light. These tools are helping kids feel smart, capable, and creative. And that confidence carries into everything else they do. \r\n\r\nThank you for believing in them.\r\n\r\nAnd to The DonorsChoose Community. Your support made this possible. The headphones you helped fund have made a huge difference in our library. Students are using them during lessons and independent learning time, and it's been a game changer for focus and engagement. Whether they're listening to audiobooks, working through reading or math apps, or diving into digital citizenship videos, having their own headphones helps them stay in their zone. And it's noticeably quieter and more productive as a result.\r\n\r\nWhat's been most exciting is seeing how much the kids appreciate them. One fourth grader told me, \"I can hear the book so much better now!\" Another, who usually gets overwhelmed by noise, has started participating more confidently in our tech-based activities. It's clear these headphones are helping students feel more in control of their learning. And they're more excited about it, too.
